All patients can expect to be seen in a warm environment and in a punctual fashion.
Your scheduled time for the ultrasound is the actual starting time of your appointment. If we are unable to begin completing the intake form on time it’s considered a failed appointment.
If you arrive early please park in the spacious lot in front of the building by the main entrance, which is oriented towards Macy’s store.
Building management encourages social distancing whenever possible. In order to maintain this and avoid overcrowding in elevators we recommend to enter our lobby located on “G” floor about 5 min before your scheduled appointment. By this time the previous party has been departed and the exam room is sanitized and getting ready for you.
On Saturdays or past 6:00PM on Weekdays the building may be locked.
If the building is locked we will call you when your ultrasound session is scheduled to begin and someone will come out to unlock the pass for you.
This is a 6 story building white color with a black base on the Tacoma mall territory. The name of the building is “Tacoma Mall Office Building”. The building is directly across from Nordstrom parking lot. There is a sign on the building that says “Armed Forces Career Center” so if you see the sign this is the building that you need. Even though the suite number is 30-05 the office is on the Ground Floor; Please, push the “G” button in the elevator to get on the Ground Floor.
Please, do not eat one hour before the appointment ( if possible). Please, bring a small bottle of orange juice (if not diabetic), but please do not drink juice before you arrive for your appointment. You may start drinking juice while completing the paperwork.
This would make your baby more active during the scan and it would be more interesting for you to watch as well as we get a better chance to see the gender and capture good pictures for you. However, you do not need a full bladder.
If you are coming from a distance please allow enough time for possible traffic or other delays so we can start the appointment in time. This will lead to the best ultrasound experience and maximum viewing time of your baby:)
